About TSP
The Tribal Sub Plan is a government strategy to promote the socio-economic development of Scheduled Tribes. Introduced in the Fifth Five Year Plan(1974-75), it ensures allocation of funds in proportion to the tribal population. It's aim is to improve education, health, livelihoods, and infrastructure in tribal areas and reduce inequality.
